A New Staple For Your Foundation Routine.

The combo skin cosmetic gods have heard my cry and have finally created a product that is shaking up my foundation routine in an amazing way. New from Veil Cosmetics is a life changing product AutoMatte Mattifying Base & Touch-Up. I got to test it all weekend long in the most not so beautiful weather conditions, a true test of a product if you ask me. Here is what Veil say’s about the AutoMatte.

Combination Skin Friendly Base

“AutoMatte is a powderless, imperceptible mattifier and skin smoother. Available in one universal shade, it can be used as a primer, with or without makeup, to prevent shine and oil build up and also as a touch-up throughout the day. Non-drying and non-caking, AutoMatte’s weightless and breathable veil provides a soft-focus effect that leaves skin looking naturally smooth. The formula’s clarifying & brightening properties soothe the complexion and assist in collagen synthesis and protection. Contains vitamin C & E and is paraben free.”

My experience with the AutoMatte had me staring at my skin all day. As I age my pores are completely unkind to me and my T-zone is pretty disrespectful on most humid days. I used it after moisturizer using the included black sponge and I love that I wasn’t left with a white cast, because that wouldn’t be cute alone right?  Other than doing an amazing job blurring pores and fines,  I found myself less shiny at the half day mark, even my laugh lines were shook. I do believe coupled with the Sunset Foundation which I LOVE because of its whipped consistency and light as air feeling on the skin I’m seriously considering adding the shade range to my professional kit ( my rate just went up LOL). Beauties if you’re in the market for an amazing primer base and touch up you are in for a beautiful comfortable matte (not ashy) surprise. You can get yours HERE
